about us
POSIDONIA is a small family-run business operating on Lastovo – one of the most beautiful and best-preserved islands in the Adriatic. Our lives have always been closely tied to the sea, fishing, and tourism, and today we turn that passion into authentic experiences.
Our name comes from Posidonia oceanica – a seagrass species that grows only in the Mediterranean. Posidonia is one of the sea’s most important plants – it’s protected, provides a home for marine life, produces oxygen, purifies the sea, and plays a key role in preserving the seabed.
Just like Posidonia, we aim to contribute to the protection of this pristine area by offering safe, authentic, and sustainable sea experiences.
In addition to tours, transfers, and boat and vehicle rentals, we proudly run our own family farm – supplying fresh, homegrown vegetables to our guests.
Our mission is simple: to share the Lastovo we live every day – genuine, local, and unforgettable.
